Why do people call Christianity a "white man's religion?"?

I don't understand because it started out as a Jewish religion, not European, but people say Christianity is caucasion. Is it because most early missionaries were white? Can someone please explain this? I'm looking for honest thoughtful answers

Doesn't make much sense, given that the original and true Christian Church, the one Church founded by Jesus Christ, has members of every nationality, race and color. We meet together for Mass as one people, united as brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ.

I don't know. The Bible wasn’t written by white men. All of the men that God used to write the Bible were from Asia. The Bible doesn’t promote one race as being superior to another. In fact, it states: “God is not partial, but in every nation the man that fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him.”—Acts 10:34, 35.

It's simply another attempt by some to disparage the religion.
By making it look like it supports or is founded upon racism, namely some sort of preference for whites, of course there will be many who will be turned off to it.

Catholic Christianity (in particular) is the most diverse, multicultural religion in the entire world and it has been for most of the last 2,000 years; spanning the globe and including every race, nation and gender. More than 100 million Catholic Africans would certainly disagree with the "white man's religion" premise.

What people? I've never heard it called that? Christianity is "catholic", as in
"universal."

The fact of the matter: The reason why they call it a white man's religion, which it is not, is because most people think that God The Lord Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior is white or was white, but nobody knows what color God The Lord Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior is or was when he walked the face of the earth. They are going by are forefather of America who brought Christianity over here and made it possible for everyone to either accept or deny God The Lord Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior holy word the bible only.
