It will kill almost anything in your LUNGS, but probably never make it to your bloodstream--because in addition to killing what was in your lungs, it would finish the entire job and kill you too.

Heat evaporates alcohol...  So you wouldnt get any in your system if you smoked it.


People have alcohol in their blood when they get drunk too...  The concentration is not high enough to kill a viral infection tho.   Youd get alcohol poisoning long before the concentration is high enough

NO! Alcohol kills viruses, bacteria, etc by it’s drying effect. Notice when you wipe something down with alcohol how quickly it evaporates? This causes proteins to denature which effectively kills the virus or bacteria. It would have no virus killing property in your bloodstream but can have very negative effects on you. I’m an RN.

You can't smoke alcohol. It'll evaporate too fast or the noxious fumes would be too repelling to inhale. Besides, a large dose of alcohol or sanitizer will be toxic to a person. It will kill not just the virus but the person itself.
