AB:BC=8:15=> AB=8x & BC=15x
From △ABC,
(8x)² + (15x)² = 68² - - - Pythagoras Thm
289x² = 4624
x² = 16
∴ x = 4
∴ AB=8(4)=32 & BC=15(4)=60
Area of △ABC = ½ (32)(60) = 960 cm²
