Is there such a thing as true freedom?

not with laws. every rule, law, regulations, protocol and guidelines are limitations and thus not freedom. We are not an anarchist society which would be the only true free society. So why than do we call ourselves a "free country". What exactly is free? That we can buy and own guns? that we can go whatever church we want? That we can say "**** the government" that isn't true freedom. That's barely freedom at all. Being so imprisoned that the taste of the outside air feels like freedom even with the gates still yet containing you. Freedom is a lie is it not? am I wrong?

Please explain your point of view.

There must be some laws, rules and procedures in order for us to live in a stable society. If we had absolute freedom then we could all commit murder, rape and theft and there would be no consequences. We would be no better than animals.

Pretty sure that there isn't other than that anarchy you just said. Kind of funny how the USA calls itself free when 1% of the population is in prison.
