So i dont wish to visit my GP with this issue as there is a lot more serious issues for them to be dealing with right now.

But i have a lot of pain and was wondering what it may be just for curiousity.

2 weeks ago i had a very similiar complaint that went away within a day or 2 but has came back again this time much stronger.

2 weeks ago i had the swollen gland and a bit of gum swelling at the back of the mouth but no sore throat when swallowing it went away..... but yesterday i woke up with the swollen gland again with much more swelling to the back gum and a lot of pain when i swallow in my throat.

I have no cold or flu/fever feel fine other wise but my face looks a bit more swollen on this side from under my ear to under my chin.

Find it strange that it could be an infection as i havent left the house during quarintine to catch it ?

thanks for any advice.

Has your Wisdom teeth come through.? Swollen gums are for a dentist not a Doctor.

Well I somehow got a stomach virus in quarantine so I guess it’s possible. Almost anything can cause swollen glands though. I just hope it’s not an abscess from what you’re describing with the gums...if you have that you probably need to get medical help from a doctor or dentist. But it’s strange if you don’t have a toothache...

Sounds like you have a dental infection, an abscess in your gums.
