And also ride in an über by themselves. Iv seen minors do it, but do Uber drivers really care if they are a minor or not?

If minors have debit cards, they can use them with Uber. Minors under age 18 cannot get credit cards. Under the law, they cannot be held to contracts.

Uber drivers don't normally ask for ID so if a rider looks like they are old enough to be age 18 then the minor can get away with ordering a ride.
