The creative director started off the interview explaining the HR stuff, such as how many leave days the company gives, The flexible working times, how many hours a week one should work.
They started talking about the company culture and how everyone is friendly and they have an open-door policy. They also went on about the position itself and what it would entail and the types of departments I would be working with.
Then they moved onto the technical questions about the assessment I did and what my process was when I did it, I gave detailed answers on my process and I mentioned that I did a bit of javascript in adobe after effects to get the animation I wanted. The interviewer asked if I know how to code, I mentioned to him that I dappled in a couple of languages and we spent a few moments talking about coding. He noticed that for one of my freelance jobs that I did 3D modelling, texturing, lighting and rendering and he said you know you are a generalist right, which is a good thing because it will allow you to assist with the other departments if needed and learn.
At the end of the interview, He asked if I had any questions, I asked a couple, I asked them is if there is any concerns that they have. The creative director said he will be honest with me, he needs to see if there are concerns that anyone else has, but personally he has no concerns, they also asked about my notice period.
Did the interview go well? Would like some perspective.
