Why do people believe coronavirus is real?

Could it be something to do with the fact that it is real

perhaps its because of all the dead people caused by the virus infection

Well they don't shut down countries and quarantine people for fun.

Because of its unique ability to exist

Because reality made it real. 
You can deny that the world is round or argue that climate change isn’t real until the chickens come home to roost, but neither the world or Climate Change gives a damn about your opinions 

The nice nurse in the mask and gloves held up a piece of card with a message on it for me to read. It said that I had some coronavirus of my very own and that they were going to make some slight adjustments to my lifestyle.

Because I take care of SARS CoV 2 patients in the hospital I work at.

Because it is. My pleasure, anytime.

Because it is too painful to admit that the government would knowingly destroy the livelihoods of millions.

It is easier to pretend that there is this tiny virus infecting people, and that the benevolent authorities are keeping us under home arrest for our own good.

In fairness, there are probably plenty of people who know that coronavirus is overhyped, at the very least. Hardly anyone is going in for testing... Probably because it is obvious that anyone who submits themselves for testing, is asking to be experimented upon...

A lot of people are having doubts and it's not all the nutters. Something just doesn't add up.
