In a second-order reaction, 2A --> B, the rate constant was found to be 12 L mol–1 min–1
. If the initial concentration of A was 0.55 mol L–1, what was the concentration of A after 75 min?
a. 1.1 x 10–3 mol L–1
b. 5.0 x 10–1 mol L–1
c. 1.9 x 10–5 mol L–1

✔ 最佳答案
The integrated rate equation for second-order reaction:
1/[A] = kt + (1/[A]ₒ)
1/[A] = 12 × 75 + (1/12)
1/[A] = 900 mol⁻¹ L
[A] = 1.1 × 10⁻³ mol L⁻¹

The answer: a. 1.1 × 10⁻³ mol L⁻¹
