關於英文文法問題。?

首先要弄清楚是句子的真實意思,文法其次 :
1. 有一名男子想在"外面"見你
There is a man who wants to see you outside.   (outside- adverb modifying "see")
省略後 ~ 
There is a man wanting to see you outside.  (O)
There is a man wants to see you outside.   (X)

2. 一名男子想在外面見你
A man wants to see you outside.   (more concise than 1.)

3. 一名男子在外面(等著),他想見你 
A man, who is (waiting) outside, wants to see you.

4. 有一名男子在外面等著要見你
"There" is a man waiting outside to see you.  (more concise than 3.)
  ( A man is waiting outside to see you.)   

你的意思是想說 2. 或 4. 呢?

1. 語言的對錯,都是由多數人接不接受來決定.多人用就是對的.在怎麼不合道理,不合文法 都是對的.這點清楚了 再看以下的解釋:

> 請問知識大大們，此句省略who，後面動詞wants應該要變成wanting（句型a）;
<書寫英語>來說,(a)是對的(b)是錯誤的.

> 還是可以直接省略who，後面的wants可以不用變呢（句型b）？
<口頭英語>來說,(a)(b)都是"可以接受的"(就是 都有人用的).

就像"what do you doing upstairs right now?"在<口語英語>是常用的.
比"what are you doing upstairs right now?"還要常用.

但是一般人在寫<書寫英語>的時候,就多會寫後者 而不寫前者.

> 再補充請問知識大大們，如果句型(b)也是正確的，
用說的就是可以接受的.但是用寫的應該是"不正確的"
但是 不應該 說是 "錯誤的".

> 可以直接省略who,後面wants不用變的原因，是因為句首是There is的關係嗎?
不是因為 句首是There is的關係.而是因為 "是用說的".但是你應該避免寫醬子的句子.
