Will this quarantine in UK end I am traveling to UK this July from USA. I hope the best. I leave July 4 (California) to UK. I hope I'm fine?

I leave July 4 to go to UK arriving there July 5th via British airways. I am not just worried about my flight if it would be cancelled or not, thankfully it has not been cancelled. However, when I do arrive in Heathrow I am afraid if transportation, shops, restaurants, etc. will be open during my trip. I would be there for over a month and I am hoping there won't be a quarantine for 14 days. I heard some people say anyone coming into UK would have to be in quarantine for over 14 days. I hope this won't be effective in July. I hope its only for now in the meantime. When will this 14 day quarantine in UK end. I worry about this a lot. I care for my trip and I want the best. If there is a quarantine is strict or recommended by the British government to stay home. I just hope everything wont be shut down. I heard things are getting a little better now. I hope so.

How many times do we need to tell you before you get it? NO ONE knows exactly what will happen 2 months from now. No one even knows for sure about one month from now, or two weeks from now. Quarantine for travellers to the UK hasn't even started, never mind having an end date. The UK is, at this moment, proposing to ask as of June 1 that travellers who arrive by air self-quarantine for 2 weeks. Whether that will actually be done, or whether there will be exceptions for people from some countries, or how they think they'll enforce it, or how long it would be in effect, no one knows yet. Shall I say it again? NO ONE KNOWS

If you want to keep informed about what is happening in the UK, I suggest going to dailymail.co.uk or theguardian.com, or any number of the other UK newspaper websites easily found by googling 'uk newspapers', and reading actual news reports instead of going by 'what some people say'.
