I don't think I've heard of Kay- as the first syllable, but I do know a couple girls named kuh-lee-a spelled Kalea, Calea, and Khalia

It sounds like a disease, or maybe some pharmaceutical company's idea for the name of a medicine for a disease-- "I need a refill on my Kaylia to get rid of my toe fungus."
