Why does the entire world lock down because of Coronavirus but Sweden stays open and they are fine?

I don't think 22k cases and and 2600 deaths from SARS CoV 2 is "fine".

Wrong. Sweden is a little over half the size of Texas and they have 22,317 cases compared to 31,548 in Texas. Deaths in Sweden 2679. Deaths in Texas 867. I've been locked down since the first week in March and I live in Texas. Are you with the CNN News Media? Because Sweden is NOT fine.

People are probably more responsible there, leading to overall better health and overall better handling of illness...
We have a diverse population, ethnically, politically and otherwise... where no one is really in agreement on what is the right way or wrong way to handle this... and there are also varying degrees of lifestyle which means varying degrees of this illness and how it is spread.
We can't take a lesson from a country so unlike where we live.
In Taiwan anyone entering the country must be quarantined for 14 days without question and agree to a cellphone tracker... with immediate police response if the tracker reveals that they have broken quarantine OR if the phone is turned off (or dies).
That would NEVER happen here.
Here we have armed, bearded, tatooed dudes protesting malls being closed... that they never frequented anyway.
There is an easy explanation as to why we lead the world in cases although - for now - we don't have the highest ratio of death (yet).

Sweden is NOT fine! As of 6 May 2020, there have been 23,918 confirmed cases, of which 1,620 received intensive care, and 2,941 deaths related to COVID-19 in Sweden, with Stockholm County being the most affected. So how do you figure they are fine?
