Do you agree why Mary is ever virgin: She has to leave the temple as consecrated virgin as she has reached her bearing?

years..In Eastern christianity, she is the The Holy Theotokos, God bearer; thus she is called most holy virgin Mary.. forever virgin. Do you agree?

In contravention with: The Gate in the East – This is the gate that Ezekiel saw, in which the Lord said, “This gate shall be shut, it shall not be opened, and no man shall enter by it, because the Lord God of Israel has entered by it therefore it shall be shut (Ezekiel 44:1-2). The prophet saw the glory of the Lord at his gate which is in the East, and the house was filled with it (Ezekiel 43: 2, 4, 5).

continuation: This gate symbolizes the virginity of Saint Mary who was from the countries of the East (Nazareth); and how this virginity remained sealed.

Mary was ever virgin, yes.  She was taken to the temple to be educated at the age of three, where she decided to be a lifelong virgin.  Her parents having been aged when she was born, were dead before she completed her education at age twelve.  She couldn't stay there, so Joseph was found to be her protector.

Many people have been confused by the verse in Matthew, in reference to Joseph: . . . [he] knew her not until she had borne a son . . . . The problem lies in the ignorance of the Greek word "eos"/'εως", which means "up to that point" and doesn't indicate any change after that.

For example, we can say: "He was estranged from his sister and didn't talk to her UNTIL he died." He obviously didn't talk to her AFTER he died.

@ Creation -- Uh huh.  And you know that because you were there.

No, I can't agree, but to be honest, it's not a realm of theology that I sit up at night and worry about.  If people want to believe she stayed a virgin, fine, if they don't, that's fine too, it has no bearing on any aspect of living a Christ centered life.

That is what the original Christian Church has consistently taught for 2,000 years, and its founder, Jesus Christ, promised that it would teach the fullness of God's truth until the end of time. I believe Him, and therefore I do accept His Church's teaching as His Word.

She was a virgin at the time she got pregnant with Jesus. The significance of this is so that Jesus was not born into sin. I highly doubt Mary is forever a virgin. I feel a little sorry for her if that is the case.

No the truth is Joseph and Mary had other children after Jesus was born. Mary never lived at the temple as a child. She grew up in her parents household.

We don't call the Holy Mother of God "The Blessed Virgin Mary" for nothing!

No. They are just silly stories written centuries ago.

Mary played the most impactful con in history. No other con in the history of humanity produced an outcome as consequential as her claim that child conceived in her is from the God.

No. Mary was a sinner like the rest of us. She died a natural death and is not a virgin. She cannot hear your prayers to her and neither can anyone else. Those in heaven are completely unaware of what is happening on the Earth.
