Yes, from a certain point of view. In an alternate universe, joker was not a criminal and not sentenced to jail. He eventually joined the US Air Force and became an F22 pilot. One night when he was patrolling air space of a military base in the Middle East, he got attacked by a UFO which scanned his fighter and eventually destroyed it. The joker was killed and the UFO which scanned his fighter managed to obtain a few personality traits from the him.
