I have asked this before but I didn't add enough information. I just need some insight here and advise for my brother. He doesn't use yahoo and he really needs advice. He and his girlfriend have been dating 3 years stright . This happend last summer but its bothering him . We decided to ask on here. He is in his 20s. His girlfriend just turned 18 . They was having a disagreement one night my brothers fault on that one. Well she was upset so one of her friends took her out. My brothers girlfriend says there was a few people there she didn't know and someone put something in her drink & raped her. She claims she passed out and didn't know what happened until she came back to. My brother is having problems believing her because she had a Hickey on her neck. She also had a empty condom rapper in her purse. She is not the type that would sleep around so is this possible?
My brother says if she was raped she wouldn't have a hickey on her neck, but his girlfriend says someone drugged her & it made her pass out basically. She says the condom rapper must have been put in her purse by the guy who drugged her. She pressed charges and the guy did go to jail.
My question does her having a hickey mean she lied?? We don't know much about date rape so we are hoping to get answers here before he makes a decision

No she could have gotten the hickey passed out from a kissy rapist. The condom wrapper is more suspect than the hickey. That said if someone was charged found guilty and jailed and your brother trusts the girl then he should believe her and try to move on. They might need some kinda couples counseling to get past it these kinda things can really fùck with someone.

A hickey doesn't define rape or that she was raped, but there's a good possibility that the rapist decided to leave his mark on her as a symbol that he did the deed while she was blacked out.

if a court found him guilty he is guilty.......
freak rapists do all sorts of things to women when raping they /kiss /bite etc etc and would even give hickeys ..they do what ever turns em on

so your brother means a victim should be widely awake to receive a hiki? her rapist didn't have a hiki, did he?
