Oh California is my home state. You can get to the mountains or the beach in less than 2 hours, not humid like Florida, no hurricanes, all the fruit you can eat, amazing varieties, and most of the year it is the best weather and the evenings and nights are amazing!
California because I've heard the weather there is 10/10
As far as scenery and weather, I prefer CA. I lived there for 25 years but decided to leave because the cost of living and tax burden are too high for teachers to get ahead.
California, but only near the sea. There is also more diversity in California.
There's less chance of an alligator eating your children or your pets in California.
Florida...California is too expensive, especially the houses.
I live in southern California and visit my brother in Florida every year. Florida has so much humidity so I will stay here. :D
florida
i miss living there
well........i came from california with a banjo on my knee
Neither, both very expensive places to live
California because of the lower humidity and no hurricanes
California. Way too many bizarre things happen in Florida.
I live in california and im happy here
Florida. California is too liberal. Taxes are too high. Homeless rate is too high.
I'll provide a 3rd and say right where I'm at... here in Washington... not because I'm happy and content but because it is like the least of the extremes.
I have a workmate whose relative in Cali got cited $300 for frequenting a business that is legally allowed to remain open (bubble tea).
Seems hypocritical to me.
On the other hand all-out ignorance (FL) is reckless.
We shouldn't be extreme either way.
I don't agree with full-on communism/martial law per se - but doing virtually nothing about it is also mind-boggling.
At least here in Washington "essential businesses" have been allowed to remain open... including dispensaries (LOL).
They've also been poor to enforce this lockdown since every Saturday I've driven past a huge church on my way to work has had a packed parking lot... and you could see people who seemed to just live nearby walking towards it just because there was a gathering going on.
I keep expecting to see the place surrounded by staties... but so far nada.
California. I live in Hayward, California. But Governor Newsome is an asshole. He won't reopen the state. I want go to strip club and go drinking at my bar again.
I would prefer California
california at least they have public surfing
California. I have relatives there that could come to my aid if I need any help. It’s near most of the museums and places that I would like to visit. It’s closer to my home then Florida does. Just across the Pacific.
California, not a lot of rain
!both sound better than alabama! but i'll go with florida since it's closer!
California if able to afford it .. More ethnic / linguistic diversity and differences in climate.
California...great weather year round. Florida gets tornadoes and floods and.....elderly people from the Midwest.
FLORIDA IF IT IS SARASOTA...
Wouldn't want to live in either. But probably Florida more, Californians are whiners
I have lived in both, but not in every place in either state, as there are better and worse areas to live, in both states. California seemed to nickle-and-dime its citizens for just about everything under the sun. Better paying jobs are harder to come by in Florida... but I suppose the playing field has just recently been leveled. There is a lot of people-worship in California and pretentious mentalities (which is more the norm than in other places in the US), whereas there seems to be a great deal of burn outs in Florida.... and a lot of substance abuse. Find somewhere else.
Florida cause there is less COVID-19 deaths right now there
Florida all the way it's very beautiful there
Florida because it’s cheaper
Not much of a choice. The state of Confusion or the state of Senility.
I'd probably have to go with Florida, just because California is so expensive and you really can't afford to have a decent life there if you aren't rich. And even though both hurricanes and earthquakes scare me, hurricanes are at least easier to predict far in advance so that people have time to evacuate.
we are in India in Mumbai
Wouldn't say so right to their face, but would rather live in hell than either.
california. you have the mountains and beach
I don't know what it's like to live there
I dont know about both, neither.
I love to catch hurricanes...so I vote for Florida. I'm afraid of earthquake It shakes my defective mind.
im very happy in lancashire thanx
California where I have relatives. I've already lived in Florida.
Calufornia, because I have family out there.
California but Florida is a really nice state too.
Florida, people and it's much better than California.
Only an idiot would live where hurricanes regularly strike. That makes California the choice - but NOT along the San Andreas Fault.
Neither one. They both suck.
