What Small Towns in the South or MidWest have Small Churches?

Hi! I'm looking into visiting Small Churches that are in Small Towns specifically down South or somewhere in the MidWest. Guess u could say a congregation that would be like a community where people would know each other?

Could someone give me a list of these small towns w/small churches in the South & MidWest?

I was in Nashville, TN for only 4 months & wasn't there long enough to really get to know the town b/c of lack of funds so I was forced to move back n w/ my parents in NYC due to finances reasons. (But, I really do love that Small Community, laid back feel that I Did get while living n Nashville - down South.) I'm looking n2 living (either in Nashville, TN OR) n the South Or the MidWest. So, if someone could give me a List Or Where I can Find a List of Small Towns w/ Small Churches Down South Or in the MidWest I would great appreciate it.

I agree with Pearl. Not only small towns, but many bigger towns have small churches. I doubt that a list of them exists. Some very small towns have 2 or 3 churches. In my small town of barely over 2,000 people, there are at least 14 churches I can think of within the city limits, and several more not far out in the country. None of them are large churches.

i would think all places have small churches
