Math problem ?

I have have  5 coins in my pocket how much money might i have? Record all all the possibilities as well as how you calculated amounts.

my bad this is Canadian money there will be  5 cents , 10 cents , 25 cents , $1.00, and $2.00 coins.

You did not specify which country.
In Australia we have 5Cent, 10Cent, 20Cent, 50Cent, $1. and $2 coins.
The most you could have would be $10.00    5 times 2.
The Least you could have would be 25 cents.   5 times 5.

5 one cent coins   ===  0.05
4 one cent coins and 1 nickel  ---  0.09
   ....  you can do the rest

note : there are/were coins with values $0.01 ,$ 0.05, $0.10 ,$ 0.25 , $0.50 , $1 , $2.50 , $ 3.00 , & $4.00 issued by the US treasury...just found there was a 'half-penny' at one time

lol. What country and what is the value/face amount of their coins??? I would calculate the amounts by counting on my fingers and toes.
