My boyfriend is trying to get into his google account but can't because he forgot his password. His current phone broke and he's using his old phone (only used on wifi since he has no valid number on it). His broken phone is the only backup device that can get him in his google account. (Because it's the only way he can verify it's him). Is there any way he can get in his google account and get all his stuff back?

His current phone broke. Transfer the SIM card to the old phone. Use that number to recover the password.

the only way you can access your google account is with the password, or using one of your set up recovery options (phone or alt email). if he doesn't have either of those, he will just need to create a new account.
and this time, write the password down and keep it somewhere safe! everybody seems to think they can remember their passwords, but when they never ask yiu for it, it gets forgotten quickly.

If his phone number is still good then it would be wise to find a working phone that will take his SIM, or get a cheap compatible replacement and ask the wireless company for a SIM that will fit.
