When can we expect the peak of this virus in the United States?

If we follow China’s trend, probably hit near high early May, and see a decline by late May.    

That depends how effective the social distancing and shelter-in-place strategies are that have been deployed around the country vs. the incubation period for the virus.  None of that data is of yet well known.

The mortality rate for COVID-19 in the USA is about 1.5%.  It is 11% in Italy, 9% in Spain, 7% in France, and 5% in the UK.

No one believes the statistics from the PRC or Iran.

Hard to say, esp with so many states not going into lockdown it will probably be different throughout. Though interstate transmission could also cause more than one for an area.?

I dunno but I swear it’s getting worse in some areas.  I can tell as even little things like restaurants that were allowed to re-open to some extent in some areas of the USA are to my knowledge at risk of losing their privileges of operating because the spread in some areas is turning for the worse right now.

The talking heads say in 2-3 weeks.

It could be more than a month.

The peak(s) will be at different times in different areas .

We can expect the virus to peak three weeks ago, so hop in your way-back machine and take a ride.

My governor is expecting our state to peak in late May or June.
