The asteroid 1998 OR2 will pass the Earth at the closest distance of 3.9 Million miles.  For comparison, the Moon is only about 240,000 miles from Earth.  The asteroid will pass 16 times farther from the Earth than the Moon.

No, that will not be happening.

Hundreds of Asteroids hit the Earth every day.  Small ones.
All the larger ones are being tracked and nothing is coming close.
www.spaceweather.com  and you can see the ones that are being tracked.

So doing just a little research was too hard was it.

No. But what you need to be concerned about are the things actually happening or threatening that will have devastating impact on millions if not billions - like the current pandemic, the warming planet, nuclear war....

While the rest of us are worried about Coronavirus ?
You are Full of it

Nah, don't be concerned... it's going to be much further from us than the moon is.

If you mean like the one durning the creatous kt event during the dinasour times 65,900,000 years ago to be percise then no absolutely not. An asteroid is no where approaching earth in fact it so far away, it a couple billions of miles away. This is a time equivalent to 4,000,000+ years away from us at the speed of the asteriod. They do predict that there MIGHT I say might that by 2028 we will be going thru great tribulation and the sun will finally come to it final days of turning into a red dwarf it will be like the end of the world. But this is only a theory no one truly knows what the next 10 years into the future look like. It might even be the opposite so no one can truly say. Talk to god if you really want the answer he the creator he the one that made everything from desclent and made you. If you believe in god you wouldn't need my answer it not EVEN a fraction of one of a trillionth of a percent accurate only God can answer that

No, not even close.

Some are so small, they are not noticed.  Sand or pebble ones leave a streak, or shooting star.  A basketball sized one will be a "bollide" or brief burst.
If it is as big as a semi-truck, it might break windows with an air burst, leave many fragments.
Only ones twenty-five feet across have a chance of making it to the surface and making a hole a few dozen feet across.  That is very rare, since most fall into water.
The above are for iron or stony very solid asteroids.  Ones that are rubble or icy are not a problem even when larger.
Rarely a rock a few hundred feet across might wander nearby, but could happen once in a lifetime  That might do damage over a wide area.
There was a concern a few years ago about Friday, April 13, 2029 when Apophis, a rock over 100 feet across might zoom within 20,000 miles of us.  Then in 2036 it could have hit somewhere.  But that is disproved now.
Nothing expected for next month, however not all near earth orbit or NEO asteroids are known.  That fact is proved when a medium or small one comes from area of the sun or from deep outer space and moving quite fast.  So you just cannot depend on anything.
