Ronald Reagan was conservative. But I don’t know if he’d even make it out of the primaries today.

They won't like the corrupt, pro-Russian moronic, incompetent criminal that Trump is.

Reagan would be appalled albeit depending on what stage of "I don't recall" he was in
however it's worth noting many people I know liked Reagan have become Trumpsters,
as for Ford, I do not know enough about him to really know but hopefully he'd be also.

I agree. Reagan was too conservative for the republican party today. The republican nominees get more and more liberal every election cycle.

Trump used Supply-Side economics to get the economy humming along. Of course, the coronavirus put a big kink in that. However, once this thing blows over he may use more Supply-Side to kick-start anything that needs it again. This is the same approach Reagan used to create the Reagan economy of the 1980's. Reagan was an innovator, like Trump.

Ford was as establishment of a politician as they come.

It doesn't matter what they'd think. The political climate is so much different. Both sides are more liberal than they were 50 years ago.
