Is asking someone if they are a trump supporter the same as asking if they are stupid?

I am afraid to ask people if they are trump supporters for fear that they will get offended that I even asked if they were part of a group that is mainly known for being the dumbest group of people in America.

Yes, pretty much it is..........because if they supported Trump.......then they supported all the racist Birther crap he spewed, in order to get elected.........which makes them either STUPID or Racist or BOTH.
