Find a used Honda Pilot in good condition that you can afford. They're so much better and more reliable than the others and worth fixing when they (rarely) break down. Mine has 247,000 miles and zero problems except for faded paint.

Fist of all, do you actually need awd?  If you don't need it you'd be carrying unnecessary weight and complexity around.  If you could actually get away with 2wd your market will be larger.

None: JEEP is the way to go!

It’s boxier so you can fold the back seats down and the dogs will have plenty of space.

Either the Escape or Terrain for you. If you don't mind used, go find a used toyota highlander

GMC Terrain out of those.  It’s boxier so you can fold the back seats down and the dogs will have plenty of space.

Drive a Toyota RAV 4. It's one of the few AWD vehicles that does not have the CVT transmission.Th Buick Encore is also a good vehicle.

A new Tahoe or Yukon would be more than 30K, but a used one might be good, depending on how big the dogs are.

Chevy Tahoe or GMC Yukon.
