You don't know. And that virus is said to live on objects for up to two weeks, as far as the medical community can tell.
People who are elderly, people with weak immune systems and the very young are those we need to protect against this virus. Everyone else? Well they will probably (mostly) ride it out and recover just fine. Some people will also be carries with zero symptoms at all.
First symptoms are headaches and dry cough
This is true, especially when the product relates to virus and health safety, such as masks, rubber gloves, soap, Vicks Vapor Rub, mouthwash, and shampoo.
I've taken to wearing a full Hazmat suit at all times, just to be on the safe side. I don't even take it off to go to the loo. It's starting to smell a bit but at least it's warm.
Without wearing gloves all the time, most of us are coming into contact with "germs" of those who handled products before us, which is why it's being recommended we don't touch our face in between hand washings.

How many animals have become infected in the United States? has wildlife started investigating any type of passing on of The germ to animals in the wild?
"Hygienically well?" What?
I'm not racist but...
I live alongside a heavy FOB population. I want to speak well of my breatheren but if someone is going to blow their nose into their hand and wash it off in the pool you are all in, it's a Chinese person. If someone is going to spit 37 times in 3 mins on the train platform, it's an Arab lady or a young punk trying to look cool. If someone is going to cough right in your face, that's Larry but I digress.
I believe it was Typhus in the early 20th century that was stopped by simply getting people to stop spitting in public. Yes, at all times people should be aware of their hygiene. Although, not to the point we reached long ago where all we did was cause germs to evolve immunity to our tactics.
That said, deep east cultures don't emphasis that. The CCP recently had to put out a campaign to inform travelers that holding your kids up to poop in public, like in a tree at the mall in front of JC Penny is not OK. I'm not racist but...
