BDO Rewards Card?

2020-03-03 3:42 pm
Back Story:
*Changed account from teen savings to optimum savings
this changed the primary account holder, therefore the bank points was not credited to my bdo rewards card, thus due to insufficient bank points the rewards points was void.
*but i have different cards bound to an account, but was issued a rewards card as well. these cards are named after not a primary account holder. but get points. (i dont know if the customer support was wrong or right(this happened sometimes, since if you have a lower rating of card emerald<sapphire<diamond, customer service is different)

Question
1. is there a way to recover the points? since i used the card and i was not informed that the change would void the points. (yes i know ignorance is not an excuse, but is there some leeway for reconsideration)

Back Story (the 1st question is there for you to understand my train of thought)
*with regards to refund i know that the first layer of customer support would try his/her best to not refund it.
2.I would like to know if it is possible to escalate the call to a higher up and for it to be refunded

3. basically I'm asking if there is anyway to recover the voided points.(the upper two questions are just clarifications)
更新1:

lastly does anyone know where i could find similar concerns and look if they found solutions?  i watch CBC and i know its possible to do it to sim cards plan(hidden promos), refund prevention, scams, etc.  I wanted to know if there is a site that actually shows what to do for these type of concerns since its like your begging a company that scammed you every time you call customer support.

You have two choices to fid out.

1.  Call the bank, give them your name and account number and ask the questions.  They will answer them.

2.  Ask strangers on the internet who do not know you or the rules for your bank and ask.

Choose wisely.

I don't know your bank or your bank card rules, but I would go into the bank and ask to speak with someone.  If this is not a local bank, then keep calling, if the person you speak to does not answer the question, ask to speak to a supervisor.   I spent about 3 hours one day trying to get resolution on a different credit card issue, they transferred me several times, then gave me a different number to call.  I stuck with it and got it resolved to my satisfaction.
