Depends in what your beliefs are in the proper role of governance of the government. If believe the private sector holds they key to prosperity and the general well being of the people as a whole (not necessarily all) with government acting in limited fashion supporting this view, the look to the Republican Party. However, if you believe, government is the key to all your happiness and the more it can help, do for you and active manage the private sector or take over for it, the better, the Democrat Party is for you.
DEMOCRATS HATE THIS COUNTRY AND ARE TRYING TO DESTROY IT
REPUBLICANS LOVE THIS COUNTRY AND ARE TRYING TO STOP THE DEMOCRATS FROM DESTROYING
Democrats want to raise taxes on the American people.
Both pose valid points, but I prefer being republican.
Depends on what ethics or principles you believe in. Depends on which candidates you support.
The nice thing about a democracy is freedom of choice. But it seems that lately, neither of the choices you mention is very acceptable to a rational mind which stays informed.
Neither.
It's best to think for yourself and demand results, instead of letting others tell you what to settle for.
We will always be stuck choosing the lesser of two evils in a Democrat/Republican system.
We NEED to get rid of both.
Democrat. They believe in freedom and equality unlike the Republicans who seek theocratical control
Well since I'm a Republican I'm sure my answer would be biased.
Dad was a die-hard Democrat, so I was reared to be one as well. I became President of the Young Democrats Club in college. I had to do some dirty fighting to win against a young man who had the club filled with his pawns. I met some sons of politicians. I observed highly-unprincipled scoundrels who would betray their parents and sibling as Al Gore did to his sister. In 1992, Dad was quite excited about Bill Clinton, but I said I would never vote for him. Dad tried to persuade me, but the could not. I have never voted for a Democrat since then. They have gone nuts.
What was once "Republican" has become alt-right. Back when they actually existed your question was reasonable but alas, they are no more.
It is better to be Democrat.
Republican, because the ideals of the democrats are a sham, and their unrealistic ways to "fix," problems are highly likely to fail and cause serious damage to the U.S as a whole.
Anarchy is the best system
Neither........
I think it's better to be an "independent".
And I also think that it's better to be a "moderate", or a "centrist".
Being an "extremist" can't be good, in the big picture. It's surely selfish, among other things.
It's best to be independent
That would depend on who you are asking.
Republican as the others are demoncrats.
It depends on whether you like freedom and decency or murdered babies and communism.
No. They always bring endless wars, no green infrastructure, no single payer, no immigration decriminalization, no end to the drug war.
I do better under Republicans. Don't have to worry about filthy sanctuary cities, high taxes, high crime, and other disturbing things. Dems are bad news
I always vote Republican lately. It feels good doing it too.
Democrat. They are the people who care about others and the nation as a whole. There hasn't been a republican in years. Now they are trumplicans and they care only about themselves.
It is about being honest with who you are
in a political Ideology. Todays two parties
are broken down into 2 completely different
factions. As a Democratic Socialist, You are
a (Taker). As a Republican. You are a
Contributor. That is the great divide we face
today. Anmazing you either want something
or you contribute to someone who wants
something for nothing.
The way the democrats act today attacking free speech and attacking police and going against law and order , I would be insulted if someone called me a democrat . I would prefer for someone to address me with a racial slur .
Democrat of course.
Given what the republican party has become, I'd be ashamed to be one.
C. Neither, Libertarian! Don't bother me, and I won't bother you. I hate the 2 party system.
neither, they are all fools
It's better to keep an open mind and not follow any group like a lemming.
it does not matter one iota. Both want more war and more debt.
It’s not better to be anything your view is your view and that is apart of you, no one can change that
Democrat sound good but it has nothing to do with democracy only dictatorial socialism. it did not fare very well in the Soviet Union. The symbol for democrat is a recalcitrant
You choose to be one or the other, so I suppose whichever party you feel closest to would be better.
If you're not a Libertarian, you're an Authoritarian.
republican .A little story i was in malta looking to be kind so i thought i would buy 400 koala's for a disabled centre i could look a disabled kids as they made me cry .the disabled in malta are better look after than any where in the world .the maltese are the best dresss kind but hard people that would knock at your door if you where 10 cents short
It is better to be a Democratic person.
I personally like to have a healthy dose of a little bit of both sides in my politics. Plus you get to be called all sorts of fun things.
It will depend where you live
It is better to think for yourself and choose candidates for their individual qualities, not their adherence to some calcified political party.
From my perspective, it’s best to be a balance, one who can see a political figure beyond his stance on specific topics, rather one who perceived the facts and is unbiased, but that’s just my thought
I think this is a great question that can't be covered briefly. You really have to see for yourself which set of values resonates with you as the differences between the two could not be more stark in contrast.
As for me, I heard once that if you're young and conservative you have no heart but if you're old and liberal you have no brain. I feel like democrats see the world as a harsh place full of injustices that they are going to fix, by legislation, to force the world around them to conform to their views (which inevitably fails). Republicans on the other hand see the world as it is and try to adapt themselves to work within that system to be successful (though it may not always be easy or fun).
It's like the difference between yelling at the clouds with the expectation it will stop raining because you don't like it vs accepting that rain is a fact of life and buying an umbrella or accepting responsibility for choosing not to . Which side would you want to be on?
This is like perpetual civil war. How about we trust people to make decisions for themselves in the private sector and let government be all about striving to make our own country a better example in the world
I think it's best to be a discerning American and vote your conscience.
they both have their pros and cons, there is no better or worse! it depends who your voting for and what they want for our country
It's better to know that you don't have only two choices. Don't let either one of them take your vote for granted.

Are you a billionaire? Then you might want to steal from the taxpayers.
Democrats are more favor to the people while republicans are more favor to business middle class.
In real life, when economy recesceasion, businesses close down and cause more people unemployed because of business lay off.
More people unemployed not only caused the government spending increase if you apply for unemployment or other social welfare, but also mentally making you upset, depressed if you are not able to find a new job for a long time.
Since our economy recesceasion start in 2008, Obama has been 8 years in position, now it is time for Republican.
If you believe Donald Trump able to help busibess grow and create more job, you should believe Republicans is better. If you don't Donald Trump, you should believe Democrats better than Republicans.
The two different parties represent two different people and interest groups.
Don't overly believe political ideologies. The more you utilize your own analytical skills, you will discover nothing is more important than your mental health and physical health. Take care of yourself and your families, do what you can do, eat what you can eat is the best of your life attitudes.
yes, that way you can vote in the primaries. Independents/third parties typically can not.
democrat is best for alll
Librarian for like the libraryals
Upto you.
You don't seem to like minorities. So you're best suited for the Far Right Repubs.
🥴 To me, the Democrats are righteous in morale.
Democrats are the significantly lesser of two evils.
