There are actually many people with allergy or flu wear the mask in the cold season.

I think they are already sick, cold, flu, etc..., I don't think they are trying to prevent (only) germs, but contain their own and avoid them as much as possible. I know that those with recent surgeries, cancer, heart disease, compromised immune systems are encouraged to wear them during cold and flu season, especially times of severe outbreak.

Had my flu shot way back in September. Not much we can do about the Coronavirus except wait for it to kill us
