Good books about approaching women?

I know there's plenty of books about 'picking women up', and it's usually a 'numbers game' - tips and tricks - blah blah blah - you know.

But what about when you really like that one girl. you can't get her out of your mind - nobody else could fit the bill - cupid's shot his arrow and you just can't think straight.

Where's the 'how to' book for that?

No prizes for guessing I'm in that state now and I'm thinking myself round in circles. I can't figure out how to approach her. If I didn't like her so much it wouldn't be a problem.

Please give me some direction.

The best way was to be honest. Tell her how you feel.
Like you already said, the “pick up” books give tricks, that is dishonest. To be honest, there is only one way.
If you approach her with intention, that’s already dishonesty.

Shaunti Feldhahn's "For Couples Only" is very instructional; it might be worthwhile to read some in the book, and then if you love her, tell her.  She will understand you're seriously interested.  Shaunti's book is written to be co-read by the couple, so offering to share it with her would be, as you'll know, likely helpful.

Well, my favourite direction is, and always has been, north by northwest. There's just something about north by northwest that's so...... so "right". It's difficult to quantify, but I can thoroughly recommend it. If you're not a compass-based person, then I can also recommend "Down the street for 200 yards, take the second left then swing right". Hope this helped.
