I'm running out of books to read on my TBR shelf and I can't find anything good on the internet so I'm asking random people what their favorite books are.

I am currently reading poetry books, these are all amazing:

Finding Identity by Silenus
Of Yesteryear by Lauren Eden
Peace and Other Radical Ideas by Sasha Temerte
If I'm going to pick one book that I loved and I think most other people would as well, it would be A Prayer for Owen Meany
by John Irving.

Lord of the Flies. I literally opened and read the book cover to cover and when it was over it took a minute to realize I wasn't there.

"The Sun Also Rises" the Bible is good too if you read it as a book written by human beings as it was intended to be read.

Harry Dresden series by Jim Butcher. Harry Dresden is a modern day wizard in Chicago. Excellent books.
If you don't want magic or wizards try the Jack Reacher series by Lee Child.
