Salted fries, though I use very little salt
I prefer them salted with ketchup, but I don’t mind it either way.
Always salted. But I don't feel guilty about it because I generally never add salt to any other food I eat.
lightly salted but maybe unsalted if I was eating them with ketchup or something salty
I prefer them salted because they're quite bland without it.
Since I am on a low sodium diet I no longer salt them but if you use Ketchup then thee is salt in that which is why I don't salt them. Too much sodium is not good for anyone.
chips, eggs and potato needs salt
I don’t really eat fries in general
Sowy
I like salt on my french fries, and I always put salt on fries.
There are certain foods where salt is a MUST have! Fries are one, and so are eggs, especially fried eggs.
Why would anyone eat an unsalted fry?
Potatoes HAVE flavor. You just aren't paying attention when you eat.
But yes,I do put a bit of salt on my potatoes. Salt does enhance the flavor of foods.
1967 -- First had deep fried french potatoes in Olive Oil when I was in Greece (cheap oil there.) Fabulous Flavor. Back in the States, Olive Oil was a bit expensive to use for deep frying.
2007 -- I had my first heart attack, I stopped deep frying in Corn Oil and went with Olive Oil. Hey!! I can have the Good Stuff under Doctor's Orders! They also wanted me to reduce my sodium. Since then, too much salt tastes yucky.
Un-salted. I cut back on my salt intake a few years ago and find fast food fries WAY too salty and try to remember to order fries at fast food restaurants without salt.
Salt, garlic, pepper, and I've recently started tossing them in ketchup and mayo in the hot pan to create a vinegar-egg glaze of sorts. Trust me, it'll change your world.
I put salt on everything that needs it. We do need some salt in our body. I don't overdo it. My ex partner used to put worstershire sauce on every dinner meal even if the meal was already in a sauce.
Salted, but not like, ocean water salted or anything. A light smattering will do.
