請問 eating 是分詞片語中的現在分詞表主動?還是視為動名詞呢?
我會下意識地把 eating on the subway當成一件事情來看而認作動名詞
但是又懷疑是不是現在分詞?可是我找不出來是修飾誰

"catch" 當解作 "當場發現" 時, 是感觀動詞 (verb of perception) 的一種, 也是及物動詞 (transitive verb). 其受詞後面是接 "現在分詞片語" (present participle), 代表受詞進行中的動作.可是我找不出來是修飾誰?
是修飾 "catch" 的受詞, 即是 "you", 因為句子以被動式表達.
(If subway bylaw enforcers catch you eating on the subway, ....)
