混血兒後人國籍問題?

我母親是香港人，父親是港英混血(據知現在定居英國)，我在1997前於香港出生但無申請BNO。自幼本人父母離異加上父親97前移民英國漸漸失聯，近日香港的政治環境令我重新回想起這個問題，以上程況下我的國藉是如何決定? 在申請成人身份證時有印象被職員問是否保留英籍，如果如查詢自己國籍有什麼途徑?

英國國籍只可從父親繼承，而且父母必須已經結婚只要你出生証明能父親是英國籍既可
你出生地在香港所以你是雙重國籍

1. Unless you can prove otherwise (like a registration certificate or an expired passport), you are a Chinese (Hong Kong) citizen. You have no linkage with the U.K.
2. There is no method, unless you find your father first.
Because you are never a British National (Overseas), if there is any linkage with the U.K., it must be through your father, as your father's nationality and the method of its acquisition determines if you can benefit from your father (and you will need the related document to prove as well).
In short - unless you have the document (which is unlikely), you must contact your father in order to establish the linkage. The HM Government can't establish anything just because you say so.
