Why are high schoolers( teens) so rude?

I mean I can be rude myself sometimes but seriously like only 1/4 of the people at my school are truly nice. Does it have to do with us growing up and puberty?

This is the result of bad parenting and a lack of discipline and its becoming more and more common, which is very troubling.

i'm not a teen and i'm still rude. people are just rude. i have things to do, and they are in my way
