My daughter driving friends car with no proof of insurance?
My daughter got caught speeding. My daughter was speeding because she knew her tire was low. The owner of the car wasnt answering her phone, so I told her to get it to the closest shop before it popped. She was in the backwoods scared and panicky. Anyhow she got stopped, the officer gave her 3 tickets one for seatbelt, one for speeding, and one for no proof. She called the girl. The girl said she had proof,. My daughter took the car back, so far the girl has provided no proof of insurance. What should she do? My daughter is only 17?

It's too late to raise a responsible child. I'm also a single mother. My children HAVE to be responsible - and they are.
If there is no proof of insurance, then no proof is provided to the Court and the ticket "stands." Duh.
How does not wearing a seat belt relate to speeding to a repair shop with a tire going low? Did she think the seat belt was somehow connected to the tire?
What should she do? Go to Court and tell a Judge this fantasy story.
My favorite part is the low tire and speeding. You ARE aware that when a tire is low you drive SLOWLY or YOU PULL OVER AND CALL FOR HELP. Speeding with a tire going low is a death wish.
On another note, your "questions" indicate a very high level of dysfunction, both personally within the family. Have you ever talked to a counselor?
The first thing to do would be to raise your kids to use their brain.
It sounds like the girl did not have insurance and told your daughter that she did. However it is your daughter's fault for driving the car without proof of insurance in the glove compartment which she should have verified was there before using the car. As far as the other tickets she received, she was clearly to blame. So there is not anything that you can do to get her out of this mess, but it should teach her to be more responsible next time.
Is your daughter on your policy? If so, that should cover her when driving someone else's car. Just have her take the insurance policy with her name on it to court.
Driving faster makes the tire more likely to pop, because of the heat generated from driving fast when a tire is low.
Tell her the pay the fine.
And stop giving her bad advice about driving.
Either you're not telling us the whole story or your daughter isn't telling you. Even if she was "panicking," common sense would be avoiding back roads. Assume she doesn't have insurance and act accordingly.
