concrete noun (grammar) is the name of a thing, not of a quality;eg:-poly-tech building, cement, sand, gravel, road, cross-harbor railway station.abstract noun (grammar) is one that is the name of a quality or state, eg:-length,, goodness,, virtue,, fragrance(=sweet,pleasing smelling), memories.
