How can I completely empty campstove gas tanks. I want to reuse them for art?

Open the nozzle and let the gas escape or have a barbecue until there’s no more gas.

Disconnect all fittings, turn on the gas tap and let them blow out into the open air.Do make sure that you are not in an enclosed space when you do this though.
