(a) free-body diagram of bucket:

(b)

T cos 30° = 300(9.81)
∴ tension in string,T = 300(9.81)/cos 30° = 3398.3 N(to 1 dec. pl.)

(c) Since the bucket of water is moving horizontally at constant speed, 
the horizontal resultant force acting on it = 0
∴ air resistance, R = T₂ = T sin 30° = 3398.3 (1/2) = 1699.2 N(to 1 dec.pl.)
