To answer your question. Yes the world would be better under the control of God. In reading the bible God is a God of love a just God. A God who care about people about how they feel. A God of peace and of order. But the Bible teaches that God is never the source of evil.James 1:13 tells us that God does not test anyone with evil things. It says: “When under trial, let no one say: ‘I am being tried [or, tested] by God.’ For with evil things God cannot be tried, nor does he himself try anyone.” This means that even though God hasn’t stopped bad things from happening, he never makes them happen. Job 34:10-12, (Psalm 37:28), (Genesis 6:5, 6), (Malachi 3:6), 1 Peter 5:7. Please feel free to read these scriptures to understand how we can get closer to God.
