最近看到作文章有as compared with的句型
:
Daily necessities can be twice or even three times as expensive in metropolitan areas compared to villages.
上網查的資料只有給另一種範例但沒解釋 :
The output of the factory this year has increased by 20 percent as compared with last year.
由於此句型的資料很少，所以想請知道的大大幫忙解釋用法、意思一下~~
PS : 如果可以的話，希望可以解釋的詳盡一些，如as作為復詞用表示「和...一樣地」 ; compared with 是由關係子句簡化而來的等等~~
