How do you meet celebrities out on the streets?

My friend has met hundreds of celebrities and gets photos with them, Conan O'Brien, Katy Perry, Tom Cruise, even metal bands such as Slipknot, Korn, etc. And we're in Sydney Australia. How do you find out when and where they'll be?

First of all your friend got connections somehow. Very few celebrities will stop for a photo or sign for an autograph especially these days. Ask your friend to team up with him

I live in the States.....I've met a lot of celebs in Las Vegas, NYC, Nassau, D.C., Bermuda, MGM in National Harbor, San Francisco, etc.
