Does soap irritation have the same symptoms as bacterial vaginosis?

I just recently had my pap smear done two weeks ago. My doctor said every looked normal. I asked him if i had bacterial vaginosis and he said no. He said i had no yeast infection either. I use dove sensitive unscented when i shower. I don't know whats going on.
