I would say Yes. When I was young I could find a date most anytime but I am active but in my 60's and
a date is almost impossible to find. Maybe it's me but I am not very much different.

yes, of course. as well as making friends. when u re young u re friends with everyone, when u re old u have somehow higher standards for relationship.

Funny question, not because of you.Your chances of meeting the RIGHT guy seem to increase, while the chances of meeting ANY guy go way down.  At a certain point in the 30s, singles become more selective and sophisticated. They tend to get their expectations and conditions for being together in order, and weed out the short term trash that younger people seem to kind of accept. So when you're older, you usually are not desperate, but discriminating. Maybe it's time to compose a list of what you need in a mate, what you'd like in a mate, and what it totally unacceptable to even consider.  This not only gives you a guide for evaluation, it's also the basis of a social media post.
One word of advice: Don't settle. We both know that whomever you are considering is NOT going to change, and that you can't change him.
