"Mortal Kombat 2: Annihilation" It didn't even have most of the actors from the first film returning, and it was a mishmash of terrible CGI, terrible techno music, and terrible fight choreography. Most of the lines are laughable, and the movie culminates in a final fight between two monsters that looked like they hopped out of the Dire Straights video "Money For Nothing". How could they get the formula so wrong? Martial arts fights, some gore with the fatalities, and boom! you have a hit. This did it so badly that it killed the film franchise.
I actually got my money back at the theater.
