Is it normal for a doctor to feel my baby’s head in cervix check at 31 weeks?

Why was your doctor doing a cervical check at 31 weeks? That would indicate he/she suspected a problem, and that the baby has descended more than usual if he/she was able to actually feel the head.

But doing a vaginal exam and knowing baby was head down? Normal.

It was for me. My doc could feel both my kids' heads toward the latter part of my pregnancy.
