Dead Moon by Peter Clines. Lovecraftian zombies on the moon. It's not bad. It's marketed as part of his Threshold universe, and I've loved the previous books. This one is kind of meh, in comparison. Not bad per se, but not living up to my high expectations. Still, it wouldn't be a bad Halloween read if you're looking for something seasonal.
Lord of the rings. It must be about the 20th time I have tried but never get to the end. Once they made the film I know what happens so can't be bothered to finish it
