Nice mix of '60's - '80s mainstays with a few outlers.

Notable absences:

James Brown, Billy Joel, Elton John, Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Focus, Genesis/Peter Gabriel, Grand Funk Railroad, The Guess Who, Miles Davis (gotta have at least some) Moody Blues, Steely Dan, Stevie Wonder, Steve Winwood/Traffic.

Some suggestions among outliers: Tommy Bolin, Fairport Convention, Peter Frampton, Gentle Giant. The Good Rats, Humble Pie/Steve Marriott.

That's not a bad list. I'm a metal fan personally, Metallica and Pantera being my favorite bands (I don't like any band more than them). Megadeth, Ozzy's solo band, Motorhead, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath are some of my favorites as well. I do have a lot of respect for Classic rock and Punk rock, like Lynyrd Skynyrd (R.I.P. to the members who passed away), ZZ Top, Ted Nugent, Kansas, Blue Oyster Cult, Aerosmith, AC/DC (R.I.P. Malcolm Young), the Sex Pistols, and many more. Those Classic rock and Punk bands influenced a lot of the bands I listen to.

We have different tastes, but I certainly like a lot of the stuff that you've listed. I like classic rock a little more casually, but looking your list over brings me back to this road trip that my wife and I took where we started by flying somewhere and rented a car and hit the road for about a week. We couldn't get our phones hooked up to the car's system so we leaned heavily on the classic rock station from the from Sirius or some such service. Anyhoo, there was a whole lot of "man, I haven't heard this in forever!" on that trip. Point is, I imagine that if somehow I ended up with your iPod instead of my own and had to shuffle it for a road trip I'd have a fine time with it. There would be some skipping, but probably not a ton.

You have most of my favorite classic rock mainstays.

I think you have great taste of music

It's in good alphabetical order. Like it!

The only person I'd remove is Gordon Lightfoot. Not a very good researcher.

Those are artists, not their music. Safe to say every band puts out a few dog tunes. A few of those bands give me hives (just a few). Nice to see Dave Mason on list. Always felt he was under appreciated

Add some slipknot and Atreyu and fit for an autopsy and lizzo

Plenty of good stuff there - I have a lot of it on my own iPod. That said, there’s no need to ask us what we think of it. Your iPod - your choice, and if you’re happy with it then it’s all good.

Pretty typical for someone I'm assuming is a middle-aged male.

You spend too much time on music. LOL Looks like you like hit singles mostly.

You must really like rock music.

Great- it's a lot like mine. From Abba to ZZ Top, it has a bit of everything.
2019-09-13 10:57 am
That sounds fine.

There are some really good artists on there. Also several I don't like. Predominantly classic rock, which would leave me bored.

Kinda small (Touch?) and not much diversity
Snooze fest

Nice mix of bands.
You might want to add Lead Belly, Sonny Terry, Loretta Lynn, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band
Arlo Guthrie for sure.

You have a good library, but you know that you're going to keep adding to it.

(Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Carlene Carter, Jerry Jeff Walker)

It must of taken you a while to write this list.
