What did you do after your grandparents passed away?

I was young when Grandpa died and he died during summer break from school. When Grandma died I had just started a new job, so I just took time off for the services.

I took a day or two off for the funeral(s), but then I had to go back to work. I have bills to pay.

Both of my paternal grandparents died before I was born. I do not remember my maternal grandfather. I cried when my maternal grandmother and step grandfather passed away.

I mourned their passing and got on with my life. Why would I stop going to work, I didn't stop going to work when my parents died,, life goes on, bills have to be paid, your debtors are not moved by deaths in your family.

We went to the funeral but then returned home to out lives.

I had a tough time functioning, because I loved them dearly.

When my grandfather that I knew for 16 years and lived with died my heart shattered I just loved him despite having some fights with him I did absolutely love him though

I never met them I tell you what

I mourned them for years it took me a few years to accept that they are dead.
