Where I grew up, school started after Labor Day. That's common in many areas.
They don't all start at the same time. You have to specify exactly where are the schools you want to ask about.
They will start yesterday .
Already have in some areas. Public schools are locally operated; so they start and end at a variety of dates based on the local school boards who typically run the schools.
Universities also start and end at various dates. In fact some schools operate year around. The so-called adult schools and extension schools typically operate three terms: summer, fall, spring.
It's the third week August around here right now it is back to school time. Usually by the first week of September. It really depends on the local school district.
School starts for me September 17th, that is later then most schools though. Most start the 3rd or 4th of September (right after Labor Day). A few in the south do even before Labor Day.
I don't think schools are ever out anymore. seems like it is a year round thing now
Already have in my neck of the woods.
The ones I know about begin next month.
